As the crew of a cutting-edge submarine, your goal is to locate and eliminate the enemy vessel before they can strike first. Each role on your team is crucial: whether you’re the tireless Captain, the ever-watchful Radio Operator, or the skilled Engineer, everyone must work in concert for the ultimate success.

Gather around the table with your teammates, each assuming a vital role onboard. The Captain navigates the submarine and communicates vital maneuvers, while the Radio Operator listens intently for clues from the opposing side, piecing together their strategies to unveil their hidden sub. Meanwhile, the Engineer is busy preparing torpedoes, mines, and other equipment for a swift and decisive combat response.

Captain Sonar offers two thrilling modes of play: choose between turn-by-turn or simultaneous action. In simultaneous mode, all team members execute their tactics at the same time, creating a heartbeat of adrenaline as you track your rivals’ movements. When the Captain calls for an attack, the game momentarily pauses to reveal if a hit is made—will the enemy sub be sunk, or will they escape into the depths unchanged?
