Every team member plays a crucial role, so effective communication is key. After all, a captain is nothing without their trusted crew: the Chief Mate, the Radio Operator, and the Engineer. Gather around the table and choose your roles wisely! The captain navigates the submarine and announces movement details, while the Radio Operator listens intently for the opposing team’s commands, attempting to pinpoint their hidden location. The Engineer gears up the munitions room, preparing torpedoes, mines, and other tactical devices crucial for underwater combat. Captain Sonar can be played in two thrilling modes: - In the turn-by-turn mode, players take their actions in sequence. - Or, opt for the heart-pounding simultaneous play, where all team members act at once, trying to outsmart the enemy while tracking their every move. When a captain decides to launch an attack, the action pauses for that tense moment to determine if a hit is scored. Will the enemy escape into the abyss, or will you be the one to scatter their wreckage across the ocean floor?
