Brass: Birmingham takes you on an exhilarating journey through the heart of the Industrial Revolution. In this captivating economic strategy game, players step into the shoes of ambitious entrepreneurs in Birmingham, competing for dominance from 1770 to 1870.

Building on the legacy of Martin Wallace's acclaimed 2007 game, Brass, this sequel weaves a fresh narrative and offers a unique gaming experience. Players will need to develop, construct, and expand their industries while strategically responding to the ever-changing demands of the market.

The gameplay unfolds across two dynamic eras: the Canal Era (1770-1830) and the Rail Era (1830-1870). To emerge victorious, players strive to accumulate the most Victory Points (VPs), which are tallied at the conclusion of each era based on canals, railways, and flipped industry tiles.

Each round is a chance to seize the spotlight. Players follow an engaging turn order track, taking turns to execute two strategic actions, including:

    • Build: Invest resources to place an industry tile and grow your enterprise.
    • Network: Expand your reach by adding a rail or canal link.
    • Develop: Enhance the VP potential of your industry.
    • Sell: Offload your cotton, manufactured goods, and pottery to maximize profits.
    • Loan: Take a £30 loan, sacrificing some income for immediate resources.

In a thrilling addition, Brass: Birmingham introduces a new action:

    • Scout: Discard three cards to claim a wild location and wild industry card, replacing the original game’s Double Action Build. This opens new strategic avenues and opportunities!

Whether you're a seasoned strategist or new to the world of board games, Brass: Birmingham promises an engaging and thought-provoking experience that will keep you coming back for more!
