At the start of each round, draw a card from the “Book has…” column. For example, if the card reads “Pet,” your group must think of a book that features a pet. Once you’ve agreed on a title, flip over the next description card and see if it fits your latest pick. If it does, add it to the “Book doesn’t have…” column.

Let’s say in the first round, the group chooses Clifford the Big Red Dog as a book that features a Pet. In the second round, the description might be “Read by Children.” Now, the challenge is to think of a book that has a pet but isn’t typically read by kids. Could it be Marley and Me? Perfect!

Continue this exhilarating process, flipping through five descriptions and brainstorming until time runs out. Can your group reach a final consensus on a book that checks all the boxes? Only time will tell!
