The game unfolds over a flexible series of rounds, concluding only when a set of collaborative achievements has been claimed. Victory is sweetened by earning the most victory points, which can be accrued through various strategies such as researching cutting-edge technologies, enhancing your economic prowess, and colonizing untouched star systems.

On each turn, players strategically position their action pawn on available action spaces to execute powerful moves. Afterward, the production phase kicks in, where you can produce vital resources, expand your population, or trade resources to maximize efficiency. The real thrill comes as you delve into an array of technologies, classified into four exciting levels. Each technology represents one of four categories: scientific, economic, military, and commercial.
