Anachrony: Fractures of Time

Following the initial awakening of the Paths' Time Rifts, explorers have witnessed visions of an elusive fifth Time Rift above the mysterious Ground Zero. This has sparked a newfound sense of empathy and connection among inhabitants, prompting a mass movement towards the newly established Path of Unity.

Within a secluded mountain valley, the Path of Unity’s pioneers uncover remarkable flora that has thrived and mutated due to toxic Neutronium dust from the asteroid impact. This breathtaking environment is home to unique flower-like crystal formations that produce a powerful substance known as Flux. Collected and studied by the enigmatic Harvesters, this technology offers potential advancements to the Paths, yet its side effects remain a tightly guarded secret known only to the Harvesters.

With access to Flux technology, players can harness Flux Cores found in the Amethynia Valley, the expansion’s new focal point. These Cores enhance players' Fracture devices, granting them the ability to "Blink" an already placed Exosuit to a new action space or swiftly retrieve Workers or Free Action markers. This innovative mechanic adds unparalleled efficiency to gameplay, though caution is needed; overuse of Flux can trigger Temporal Glitches that disrupt players' strategies, leading to chaotic effects like the temporary shutdown of Exosuit bay slots or enhanced vulnerability to Anomalies.

Additionally, players will discover more mysteries within the Valley. Advanced technology from the Operators enables them to rectify Temporal Glitches, upgrade their existing Path technologies with fresh enhancements, and even recruit the Harvesters as a formidable new class of Workers, who possess immunity to the Flux’s adverse effects.
